Speaking of Not Responding, Ladies and Gentlemen, I Give You the Suspicious0bservers

A couple days ago, I left the following comment, which has yet to be approved, on a Suspicious0bservers video:

This is the graph image I linked to in the comment:

Now, there are only about 1,000 "sciency"-sounding, cherry-picked points in that video which have little or nothing to do with climate change, and certainly don't add up to the nonsensical conclusions that Ben Davidson, narrator and owner of the YouTube channel, draws. For instance, at this point in the video, he claims CO2 is NOT the main driver of the observed modern warming, and, instead, our planet's diminishing magnetosphere combined with high solar activity are the real climate change culprits, since, according to him, we had less protection from the Sun's radiation at the same time we witnessed temperatures rising after the Industrial Revolution. While it's true the magnetosphere has been and is weakening slightly, here's the problem with teaming it up with the Sun to make some new global warming dynamic supervillain duo: the magnetosphere prevents charged particles from reaching the Earth, not visible light and infrared energy—that is, the electromagnetic radiation which has interacted with greenhouse gases to cause the greenhouse effect historically and modern climate change more recently. In other words, a weakened magnetosphere may cause more intense auroras at the poles, or endanger satellites and electronics, but it won't let in more sunlight, brighten the daytime hours, and create a spike in the sunglasses industry. Is anyone anywhere complaining of global brightening? When the magnetosphere strengthens again, which it will, will days grow darker? NO!

Almost all of the Suspicious0bservers' videos are like this. A classic case of "Jaezuz, there's so much wrong here, where do I even begin?" So I thought I'd pick just one mistake, rather than frighten Ben into blocking a comment with a barrage of counterpoints (besides, my personal ethics are against flooding...yes, even when the target is a flood of misinformation), but it seems like Ben is a little too skittish to let even one strong challenge fly on his channel. Click on the link to the video above, toggle the comments filter to "Newest first", and I'm pretty sure you'll see my comment hasn't been approved yet.

I even went so far as to tweet at him yesterday to no avail:

So how about it, Ben? Gonna allow some criticism and debate on your channel? Or are you going to block and hide from it?

Easy Money, Right, My Little Screwy Denier Friends?

And I thought I stuck my neck out and challenged climate change deniers. I got nothing on Dr. Christopher Keating who recently offered $10,000 to anyone who can disprove man-made global warming.

"I'm a scientist and I have to go where the science leads me. I have been studying climate change for a long time and I am certain my money is safe. They are in the business of denial and deception, not science. But, if someone could give me a scientific proof global warming isn't real, it would be worth the money."

I mean, geez, why haven't Anthony Watts, Steven Goddard, Dr. Roy Spencer, John Christy, Judith Curry, et al, and you wingnut denier trolls who constantly crow away on Internet forums that you know better than climatologists already cashed in, hmmmmm? Didn't have the chops AGAIN?! Ah, poor little ineffectual denier loudmouths can't seem to come through when it counts.

Growing Pains

This is an upstart, snot-nosed, pesky blog with little hope of surviving in a digital universe drowning in two-bit, "here today, gone tomorrow" sites, right?

I started this irksome project to get under your skin only a couple months ago, deniers, and I'll likely lose interest and be gone in a few months like "all the rest," yeah? No comments to date, and no real reason to pay me any mind, ain't that so?

See, problem is, Google's stats feature is telling me you are paying me mind (in minor daily increments, to be sure). Each and every day, I see more traffic than the day before. Enough to where I might just take some pride in the attention, thank you for the somewhat involuntary generosity you seem unable to get under wraps, and stick around to further irritate you. :)

Also, I've been linking to your gods in posts where I cut them down to their true, small-minded size (for example...), and traffic-sourcing reports being what they are for blog administrators, I am quite certain that at least a few of them know what I am up to while lacking the guts to call me out, or, like you, figuring I'll just go away. Now, you may see this as arrogance. I, however, see it as a glorious tribute to critical thinking skills all those hard-working teachers (you know, the ones you call "liberals on the government take") over the course of a fine, well-rounded, public education, ending in a college degree, have managed to cultivate in me.

The short of all that talk-is-cheap boasting? I'm not going anywhere.

So let me issue you a challenge (something I've done before), and see if you have the backbone to come out of the inky, lurker shadows and respond...

What is your best argument against the undeniable reality that our emissions have warmed the planet and are changing the climate for the worse and to our own detriment?

Let's go. Find your spine and step up, because I'm more than willing to tell you what my best argument is for why you're all a bunch of pseudoscience-worshipping fools. Spoiler alert: it's in my blog header.

hockeyschtick.blogspot.com

Complete and utter bullshit. Every last post. Every one is total unscientific, nitpicking GARBAGE. Absolute spineless, squeaky, impotent, troll-athon NONSENSE. And that's being kind.

If you think I'm wrong, then link to whatever scary-"impressive" post you think is the best argument that bullshit blog has made against the established scientific fact that our emissions are warming the planet. Go ahead. Give it your best shot, meatballs. Post one. ONE. Don't bother with flooding, because I'll cut your childish crap down to one for you.

ONE.

And I will destroy it.

Lotsa luck, you ignorant idiot fans of that awful blog.

Complete waste of IP packets, every last senseless word.
